Slideshows

I have relocated all of the past slideshows to the section marked as such.  That tab is located at the top of the page.  They include tours of:

Mahmudiyah

Arab Jabour (includes PB Hawkes and PB Murray)

South Baghdad

Al-Doura/East Rashid

Al Haswa/COP Corregidor

Kabul, Afghanistan

I will be posting a new presentation every ten days or so, through spring 2008.

After spending 23 yrs serving in the Navy; Cold War, Drug War, Gulf I/II/OEDF etc…I could never imagine feeling the need to share details like this to anyone that does not have the need-to-know. This new generation that feels the need to find acceptance or someoneone in the public to stroke their ego and get feedback on their job is unacceptable to me. First, you were not drafted and volunteered to pull this duty. If this duty was harder than you expected, so what…do it quietly and without the need for the public to pat you on the back. Every little bit you share to get your ego stroked is a bit your enemy can use against you and your unit.

Not sure what you are talking about. I’m a civilian and it’s my job to tell these stories.
