I completed a tour in Afghanistan in Janaury of 2008 where I was one of the Corps of engineers assigned to Khost Afghan national army base about one hour away from FOB Salerno. I was responsible for the O&M of Khost ANA, review some road construction and police and border patrol stations. My son is now with the 3/8 Marines, I company. Put a shout out to Bubba Welch. Ask him about his Black lab butch. He also has a street rod hearse and a small arsenal at home Very few dads and sons have served in the same war theater in the same calendar year.
